Acceptance Plan Project Management Process
Q: What exactly is “acceptance management”? I have heard the term used in the project management industry, but I’m unsure whether or not it applies to my projects.
A: Acceptance Management is the active project management process by which you gain a customers acceptance for the deliverables your projects create. Put simply, it’s getting the big “rubber stamp” from your customer for the items you deliver as part of your project. And yes, it applies to EVERY project you undertake, because if your customer hasn’t signed off on all delvierables produced, then your project’s not complete.
