Tip…Choosing your Project Management Process Home Page When you first load MPMM, the opening page is called the “Home” page. If you have the Professional edition of the MPMM project management process , then you can choose which page loads as the home page and what the content of that page displays. To chose a different home page to the one currently displayed, open the “Methodology Manager” and select the methodology that you wish to choose the Home page for. Then after choosing your project management process, select the page that you want to have as your new home page, select “Edit Page” and then tick the box “Make this the Home Page”. Only one page can be your Home page in each methodology, so if you choose a new page to become your Home page, then the page that was previously your Home page will be deselected. Tip on Changing the Project Management Life Cycle Hierarchy When you load MPMM project management life cycle , one of the first things that you will notice is that they’re is a hierarchy of pages included in the left hand side Navigation Panel. The hierarchy of these pages has been pre-determined, but if you have the MPMM Professional edition, it’s possible to change them. Simply use the Methodology Project Manager to open the relevant project management life cycle of your choice. Then select the items in the hierarchy that you wish to move about and use the “Move Up”, “Move down”, “Up Level” and “Down Level” buttons to alter the position of the pages in the hierarchy. The “move up / down” buttons will move the pages up and down in the hierarchy. Whereas the “up / down level” buttons change the level in the hierarchy that the page is displayed in. If you’re using the Professional edition, then you can easily copy pages to and from any project management process, by using the “Copy” and “Move” pages. This feature is typically used when a person creates a brand new project management process and they wish to copy pages from the MPMM online project management process itself. When you copy pages between methodologies, note that there is a checkbox called “Copy SubPages” on the right hand side. The purpose of this checkbox is to enable you to also copy or move all of the subpages related to the page that you have selected.
