Project Methodology Documented Steps

“What is a Project Methodology and why do I need one?

A Project Methodology is a series of documented steps that are undertaken to complete a project from end to end. It’s also known as a Project Life Cycle or Project Roadmap. The methodology steps you through what it is as a Project Manager that needs to be done, by whom and when. You need one if you want to standardize on the way you manage projects, to gain a greater level of efficiency. In other words, if you tackle projects in the same way every time, then soon enough you get extremely good at managing them and before you know it, the risk you incur with every new project reduces and you enjoy a greater level of project success from it.
