Compatibility with project management ERPs

Q: As a consultant, I am constantly exposed to a number of project management life cycle ERP solutions, such as SAP and Oracle Financials. Would it be possible to integrate MPMM with the common ERPs so that customers can share methodology, financial and customer related information for their projects?



A: Yes we are looking at integrating MPMM with the three project management software ERPs: Oracle Projects, Microsoft Project and SAP. We are also considering integrating with Primavera. As with any software integration project, the level of integration that we achieve will really depend on the type of ERP installation that the user has and how they wish to use our tool set.

Communications Register

Under what situations should I create a Communications Register for my project ? For small, medium and large projects you should always implement a Communications Register. This register will identify all of the communications events that have taken place for the project and also the communications events that are due to take place in the future. The reason for listing the communications events that are due to take place is that it provides a single place where the project manager can use and control communications to stake holders.
